David Haith Jr.

David Lindy Haith Jr., 62, passed away on December 20, 2022 at his home.  David enjoyed the outdoors, rebuilding electronics and reading technical magazines and books.  Left to cherish is memory are his wife, Tracy Haith; daughter, Sara Smith; step-daughters, Brittanie Taylor (Justin), Brandie Austin (Jayme), Brenda White (Shawn); brother, Steve Haith; sister, Stacey Shanklin; 10 grandchildren, Corbin, Daylin, Alexis, Devon, Chloe, Madison, Kaelinn, Noah, Andrew and Brooklynn and three great grandchildren, Spencer, Carter and Alex.  He was preceded in death by his father, David Haith Sr and mother and stepfather Barbara and Thomas Shanklin.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 5-7 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday December 29, 2022 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane.
