David "Hombre" Lee Mann

Mr. David Lee “Hombre” Mann, 62, of 210 Long Ave. Graham, NC, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Friday September 18, 2015 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He is the son of the late Charlie A. and Ruby Moore Mann. He worked as a sheetrock finisher for over forty years. David was an avid fisherman and loved to spend time with his family and was known for always being kind hearted and helping others every chance he got. David was a great man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Although David never had and children of his own, he was like a Dad to his many wonderful loving nieces and nephews. Survivors include his sister, Pat Horner, of the home; brother, Cecil Mann and wife Janice, of Georgia; sister, Pam VanZandt and husband John, of Virginia and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother in law, Odell Anderson Horner. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Rev. Stacey Hall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, and other times at the residence of the family.
