David Ishmael Leobino

Mr. David Ishmael Leobino, 48, of Graham, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 24, 2021. A native of Rio De Janeiro, he was the son of David Cicero Leobino and Nilva Coutinho. David loved the Lord and had attended RiverLife Fellowship in Chapel Hill. David spent 24 years honorably serving his country in the United States Army Special Forces. David can be remembered as a loving and caring individual, always putting others before himself. He was also as an avid learner, always hungry for more knowledge. David had all the traits of a great father, putting his son Bryce on a shining pedestal every chance he got.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Megan K. Leobino; his son, Bryce Leobino; his mother-in-law, Susan Downing; his step-mother, Elaine; sisters, Deborah Perez (Brandon), and Luciana Zamudio (Ferney); brothers, Joshua Leobino, Jefferson Leobino, and Raphael Cunha; and many loving nieces and nephews, and several in-laws. David was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as his father-in-law Edward C. Downing.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 29, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with Pastor Matthew Bollinger officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm until service time on Saturday at McClure in Graham. Interment will occur at a later date in Pennsylvania.
