David Lynn Michael

MEBANE - David Lynn Michael, 71, of Mebane died unexpectedly Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was a native of Alamance County, Retired from Leesona Corporation, a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Navy and a member of Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hattie Heath Michael; brother, William Michael. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sarah Lawrence Michael of the home; daughter, Cindy Michael McGilvray of Mebane; Brothers, Jerry & Barbara Michael of Spokane, WA, Harvey & Carolyn Michael of Mebane; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and his cat, Miss Alley. A service to celebrate his life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Hope Baptist Church, West Main Street, Haw River by Pastor Frederick Bunts. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
