Dennis Marshall Ward

Dennis Ward, 68, passed away on September 16, 2017 at ARMC. He was the son of the late William Melvin and Laura Pope Ward. He was a member of Mt. Adar Baptist Church, a retired tobacco farmer and an avid UNC fan. Dennis had a special love for his “grand dogs”, Ozzie and Rusty. Survivors include his daughters; Kim Bonk (Walter) and Lisa Pore, granddaughters; Collins Elaina Pore and Viviana Grace Bonk, brother; Russell Ward (Kim), nephews; Chris Ward (Laurie) and Kyle Ward (Tiffany). The family will receive friends on Monday September 18, 2017 from 6-8 at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Mt. Adar Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Adar Baptist Church 7416 NC-49, Mebane, NC 27302.
