Desmond Ray Piccini

MEBANE - Desmond Ray "Dez" Piccini, 16, passed away April 2, 2014.Dez was born in Warren, Mich. He was a junior at Eastern Alamance High School where he was a member of the baseball team.He loved racing dirt bikes, fishing and classic muscle cars. Dez committed his life to Christ July 11, 2006, and always maintained his faith. He was a member of The Lamb's Chapel Church.He is survived by his parents, Richard and Amy Piccini of the home; sister, Kendra Piccini of the home; and a brother, Paxton Piccini of the home; maternal grandparents, Edward and Judy Bradley of Lachine, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Peter and Janice Piccini of Lake Wylie, S.C.He was preceded in death by his brother, Jake PicciniThe funeral service will be Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 3 p.m. at The Lamb's Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.McClure Funeral Home in Mebane is in charge of arrangements.
