BURLINGTON - Mrs. Dezree Thompson Paylor, 76, of 2157 Carolina Road, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Burlington after one year of failing health. Born in Guilford County she was the wife of the late Donald Franklin Paylor and daughter to the late A.L. and Lenora Terrell Thompson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Thompson. She was a member of the Carolina Christian Church and retired from Brown-Wooten Mills as a payroll clerk after 43 years of service. Surviving is her son Eddie Paylor and wife Patricia of the home; grandchildren, Ashley Moore and husband Brandon and Amber Paylor; and brother, Billy Thompson of Elon. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at the Carolina Christian Church. The Rev. Mark Mitchell, pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church following the service and at other times at the residence.
