GRAHAM, N.C. - Diane Rickman, 60, of 215 South Maple Street, Apt. M, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at the Hospice Home and Palliative Care Center in Burlington.She was the daughter of the late Lillie Rickman.Diane was employed with Alamance Regional Medical Center for five years as a CNA after working with Eric Incorporated and Nova Designs as a seamstress with over 20 years of service. She had a passion for beach music and loved all animals. Diane was known for her tender heart and love for others. Survivors include her lifelong friend, Wesley Turner, of Graham; sister, Sue Crutchfield-Rickman of Burlington; niece, Stephanie Crutchfield of Easley, S.C.; nephew, Bobby Crutchfield of Burlington; cousin, but like a sister, Marie Atkins of Graham; aunt, Doris Smith of Graham; six great-nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, with the Rev. Ernest Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham and at other times at the residence of Wesley Turner, 307 Mill Street, Graham, N.C.The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Finnegan and his team, as well as the nurses of the Alamance Regional Medical Cancer Center and the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell for their love and support during this difficult time.
