BURLINGTON - Dolly Lee Phillips Johnson, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday Dec. 14, 2014, after several years of declining health.Married on Dec. 24, 1949, she was the wife of the late Fred Johnson. Dolly and Fred lived at 404 Doggett Drive, Graham, most of their married life where they were active in their community, the church and local voluntary services. Dolly was loved and admired for her positive outlook on life and her sincere love of people. She will be greatly missed by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Pleasant Phillips and Dollie Ann Powell; brothers, Robert, Holland, Calvin, Joe Tee, Jimmie Dee, Huelon and Othal; sisters, Sarah "Beth" Stanfield, Arlona Phillips, Sylvia Phillips and Inez Mateo.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham on Wednesday Dec. 17, 2014. A service to celebrate and remember her life will be conducted immediately after at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime Wednesday before or after services at 617 Rauhut Street, Burlington.Memorials may be made to Harvest Hills Church of God, 3110 South Maple Ave. Burlington, NC 27215.Online condolences may be sent at www.mcclurefuneralservice.net -
