Dolores Shelly Thompson

Mrs. Dolores Ann Shelly Thompson passed away Wednesday March 25th, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She was of the Baptist faith. Dolores was an avid artist. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years: Jerry Thompson of the home; daughter: Laura Holt and husband Charles; grandchildren: Abigail Thompson and Samuel Thompson; daughter in law: Deana Thompson; sister: Nancy Daughtry & husband Brantley; and brother: Harold Lee Shelly & wife Nora. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben & Grace Shelly; son: Sammy Thompson; and granddaughter: Summer Thompson. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday March 29th, 2015 at 2:00PM at Riverside Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Stephenson.
