Donald Alan Dixon

Donald Alan Dixon, 63, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born in Alamance County, North Carolina, to Betty Allen Dixon and the late George Beauford Dixon.

Donald was a beloved son and brother, and he was truly well loved by everyone who knew him. He had a contagious laugh—when Donald laughed, you couldn’t help but laugh right along with him. His joy and easygoing spirit brought light to those around him.

He enjoyed watching westerns and cartoons and was a devoted football fan. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and comfort, and those close to him fondly remember the excitement and joy he found in them.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Dixon and his brother, David Dixon.

Donald is survived by his mother, Betty Joyce Dixon; his sister, Deanne Ursery (Scott); his nieces, Brianna Spear and Jennifer Ockenhouse; his great nephew, Tristan Spear; and his great nieces, Emma Spear, Sadie Staples, and Syréa Staples.

A visitation will be held to honor Donald’s life on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:30pm-7:00pm at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
