Donald "Donnie" Gene Andrews

Donald “Donnie” Gene Andrews, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born March 07, 1940, to the late Walter David Andrews and Millie Riddle Andrews. Donnie was married for 58 years to the love of his life, JoAnn Moore Andrews. Donnie was a lifelong resident of Haw River, NC. He was a faithful member of Riverdale Baptist Church and retired as a deacon of the church. Donnie loved to fish, play,

and spend time with his great grandsons, and lending a helping hand to anyone around him in need. Everyone who knew Donnie loved him, his jokester demeanor and caring nature brought love and light into any room he entered. He will be missed by so many.

In addition to his wife JoAnn, he is survived by his son, Keith Andrews, grandson, Justin Andrews, and wife Brooke, and two great grandsons, Hunter and Jackson and many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at McClure Funeral Service Chapel in Graham beginning at 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. The family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Haw River Cemetery. Pastor Johnathan Graves will be officiating the service.
