Doreen Boone

Doreen Gay Roth Boone, born September 24, 1959, in Butler County, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 28, 2026. She was the beloved wife of John D. Boone and the daughter of Gerald “Buck” and Frances “Sally” Blakley Roth (deceased).

She is survived by her children, Andrea Hayes (Jesse), Eric Boone (Susan), and Justin Boone (Katie Gowen); her grandchildren, Hailey Boone, Campbell Hayes, Holden Boone, and Jaxson Gowen; and her devoted canine companions, Winston and Ellie.

Doreen had a deep love for dogs and a special place in her heart for rescues. She was also known for her creativity and passion for crafting, often sharing her handmade creations with family and friends. Whether through thoughtful gifts, seasonal decorations, or time spent gardening with flowers, she found joy in creating beauty and bringing it into the lives of others. Her warmth, creativity, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date TBD.
