Doris Godwin Florence

Mrs. Doris Marie Godwin Florence age 80, of Mebane, NC passed away at 6:45am, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields following a brief illness. She was a homemaker , was born in Guilford County to the late William Ervin Godwin and late Hattie Mae Ratliff Godwin and a member of the Living Church of God. Surviving is her husband Robert Ellis Florence of the home, Son Robert Ellis Florence Jr. and wife Pam of Liberty, daughters Jo Ann Wetzel and husband Dan of Atlanta ,Ga., Laura Virginia Glasgow and husband Dale of Efland, 3 Grandchildren, niece Brenda Bledsoe and husband Jesse of Greensboro. The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 1pm until 2pm with a Graveside to follow at 2:30pm in the Oakwood Cemetery, officiating will be the Rev. Jesse Bledsoe.
