Dorothy Marie Carter

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Carter, 82, of Graham, NC, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 14, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas Eagan and Verla Arnold Eagan, Mrs. Carter retired from UNC Chapel Hill Hospital as a cafeteria worker for over 20 years. She was loved by many and will be missed by friends and family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Paul Carter, and her son, Allen Paul Carter.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joy Lorraine Carter Cooper, her son, Robert Earl Carter, her son, John Thomas Carter, her grandson, Thomas Leroy Cooper Jr., five great-grandchildren, her brother, Charles Eagan, and her sister, Betty Ann Eagan.
