Dorothy Mcadams Shields

Mrs. Dorothy Jane McAdams Shields, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 7th, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her sons: Ronnie Shields and wife Jeanne, Roger Shields and Rita; daughters: Patricia Shields, Susan Myers and husband Arnold, Tammy Ray; grandchildren: Lucas Shields, Adam Simber, David Simber, Melanie Shields, Sonya Wigger, and Tonya Caddle; Ten Great Grandchildren; One Great Great Grandchild; sisters: Corina Brewer and Margie Modlin. She was preceded in death by her husband: Odell Shields; daughter: Jackie Shields Massoud; and parents: Richards and Nannybell McAdams. The family will receive friends from 5to 7 pm at McClure Funeral & Cremation Service in Mebane on Saturday May 9th. A service will conducted on Sunday May 10th at 2pm at the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane with Pastor Chip Sellew Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Following the service the family will return to Mrs. Shields’ residence.
