Dorothy Mae (Wood) Mcpherson

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Wood McPherson of Graham, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Peak Resources. A native of Alamance County, Mrs. McPherson was the daughter of James Goley Wood and Bonnie Stout Wood, both deceased. Mrs. McPherson spent her working years in retail merchandising and was co-owner of D/J’s Plants and Gifts in Burlington. Dorothy was a member of Bible Wesleyan Church in Graham.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Clyde McPherson, children, Pam Mann (Paul), and Julie McPherson, both of Graham, her grandchildren, Chad Mann (Rebecca) and Heather Fulcher (Trey), great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Aiden and Boden.

A service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, beginning at 11:00AM, at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the beginning of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund of Bible Wesleyan Church.
