Dura Perry Dark

Mrs. Dura Mae Perry Dark, 90, of Burlington died January 23, 2017 at the Hospice Home of Alamance Caswell. Mrs. Dark was born July 3, 1926 in Alamance County, the daughter of Leroy and Suda Andrews Perry. She was raised in the Mt. Olive community and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church while growing up. Mrs. Dark loved to cook; she loved her children and grandchildren, and was retired from Riverside Elastic Company as an inspector. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Dark of Graham; sons, Phillip Dark of Burlington, Eric Dark and wife Tanya of Graham; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The funeral for Mrs. Dark will be held at 11:00 am Friday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery in Pittsboro. Friends may visit with the family from 6 – 8 pm Thursday at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance Caswell.
