Dwight "Tommy" T. Herring

Mr. Dwight “Tommy” Herring, 63, of Thompson Mill Road, Graham, NC, passed away at 4:15 AM on Sunday December 14, 2014. He was the son of the late Clyde T. and Edna Moon Herring. A native of Alamance County, NC, he worked with Matkins Meat Packaging in Reidsville for 40 years as a butcher and was known for being a caring and generous person who will be missed by many. Survivors include his sister, Lynda Herring, of Graham; brothers, William “Bobby” Herring and wife Sue, of Graham, Raymond L. Herring, of Swepsonville, and Larry W. Herring and wife Catherine, of Snow Camp. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, David Herring and Mike Herring. Private services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister Lynda, at 5537 Thompson Mill Rd. Graham, NC 27253.
