Eldean Watkins Thompson

Mrs. Eldean Watkins Thompson, 77, of Haw River, NC passed away on April 13, 2020, at the residence of her son,  Mike Thompson. She was in the presence of her family.

Eldean was born July 26, 1942 to John and Dora Watkins who precede her in death.  She was the second oldest of 4 children. Still surviving are her brothers, Johnny Watkins (Judy) and Jerry Watkins (Brenda).

Eldean was married 60 years to the late Jackie Thompson who recently passed in Feburary, 2020. Surviving are their 3 children, Boyd Thompson (Chae), Mike Thompson, and Denise Mousa (Khaled), six grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, and Matthew, and 2 great grandchildren.

Eldean, also referred to as Grandma and Nanny, was greatly loved by her children and grandchildren. She was happily devoted to the care of family through gatherings of many holidays and occasions. She was faithful to God, and Moore's Chapel Church. She especially enjoyed visits from church members and the youth ministries during her decline.  A memorial/celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
