Eleene L. Holt

Mrs. Eleene Lassiter Holt age 96 of 403 Circle Drive, Mebane, NC left this earthly home, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Hospice Home of Burlington peacefully surrounded by her loved ones as she took her place in her heavenly home. Eleene was born January 30, 1919 in Hopewell, Virginia to the late Samuel B. Lassiter and Vera Wary Lassiter., was also preceded in death by a son Bryan Holt, grandson Wesley Holt, sister Reba Lynch, brothers Ray Lassiter, Sam Lassiter, former husbands Melvin Holt and A.R. Stanfield Sr., step son Alfred Stanfield Jr., she was retired from the medical office of Dr. W.G. Aycock and G.Y. Mebane after 28 years of employment. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Graham Surviving her is one son David Holt and wife Jackie of Mebane, grandchildren Gena Aaronson and husband Mike of Haw River, Anthony Holt of Clinton, NC, Jeff Holt of Burlington , Steve Holt and wife Sherrie of Graham, great grandchildren Rachelle, Katlin, Cody, Jessica and Kellie, great great grandchild Oliver Sharpe. Step grandchildren children Kim Rich and husband Jay, Gina Pickard and husband Kevin, step great grandchildren Cody Rich and Garrett Rich, Macon Pickard and Noah Pickard, step children Pat Crabtree and husband Billy, Judith Rodgers and husband Bill. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Friday, February 20, 2015 in the McClure Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Mebane with Rev. David Jackson officiating. Burial will be private in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at Mrs. Holts residence. Much appreciation is given by the family to the Hospice Home staff for all their loving care.
