Mrs. Elizabeth Jones “Ann” Hubbard, 67, of Graham, passed away at the Hospice Home of Alamance/Caswell on July 23, 2018. A native of Wythe County, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Agnes Manuel Jones. Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking for her family and friends. She had an unbelievable talent when it came to making Halloween costumes which she did for her children every year. She and John loved their trips to the beach and would always find time to shag in the salty air. Ann loved her community and was a past Cub Scout Leader in Saxapahaw. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a loving soul who loved her family unconditionally. She was a member of Graham’s Forge United Methodist Church in Max Meadows, VA. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, John S. Hubbard, of the home; daughter, Emily E. Cheek, of Graham; sons, John S. Hubbard Jr. and Thomas M. Hubbard, both of Winder, GA; her loving grandchildren, Brayden Kegley and Dylan Cheek; sisters, Patsy J. Hart and husband Mike and Sherrie J. Davis, both of Graham; a brother, Michael Jones and wife Brenda, of Burlington and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special grandmother, Emily Jones. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 on Saturday July 28, 2018 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham.
