Ellen Wheeler Boyd

Mrs. Ellen W. Boyd, 65, passed away Wednesday April 2nd, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Ellen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She enjoyed traveling especially to the beach. She retired after thirty years from the Alamance-Burlington school system where she touched many loving students’ lives in speech therapy. She was a member of Historic Providence Christian Church in Graham. Survivors include: her husband Wilson Boyd of the home; daughter Beth Prezioso and husband Eric; son Jason Boyd and wife Krista; she was Granny to Jameson Boyd, Jonas Boyd, Mason Prezioso, Joseph Prezioso and Arabella Prezioso. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Charlotte Wheeler. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 5th from 6-8 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, 1030 S. Main St., Graham, NC 27253. A service will be conducted on Sunday April 6th, at 3:00 at the McClure Funeral Chapel. Conducting the service will be Rev. Darryl Peebles. Burial will follow at Historic Providence Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Historic Providence Christian Church, P. O. Box 405.
