Elwin Charles Fleischer

MEBANE - Mr. Elwin Charles Fleischer, 82, of 109 Edinborough Drive, Mebane, N.C., went home to be with our Lord at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.Born in Hartford County, Conn., he was the son of the late Walter and Florence Loveland Fleischer. He was owner and operator of Fleischer Industrial Control, a member of Agape Baptist Church and a Korean Conflict Army veteran.Surviving him is his wife, Patricia Colburn Fleischer of the home; a son, Warren C. Fleischer and wife Tamara of Elon; daughter, Linda Dalton and granddaughter, Kelly of Graham; grandchildren, Wayne Fleischer and wife Amie, Wendy Matherly and husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Christopher Matherly, Chad Matherly, Wade Fleischer and Kaydence Oakes.The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home, 1308 S. Third St., Mebane, on Friday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the home of the son, 3603 Stoney Creek Road, Elon.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Agape Baptist, Mebane with the Rev. John Cornette officiating.
