Enos Carl Mcdonald

April 7, 1955 — July 7, 2016

Mr. Enos Carl McDonald, 61, of 920 Sycamore Rd. Graham, NC passed away on Thursday July 7, 2016 at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. A native of Rockingham County, NC he was the son of the late Eugene James McDonald and Laryce Henderson Rybka, who survives, of Raleigh. Enos was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He had worked with the Department of Corrections at the Hillsborough Prison Unit in Orange County and the Department of Community Corrections of Alamance County for numerous years. Enos then went to work with the Alamance County Sheriffs until his retirement. He graduated from Reidsville High School in 1973 but always had a love for Graham High School. He was a past Cross Country Coach, active Boosters Club Member and was a substitute teacher at Graham whenever he was needed. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham where he was the youth leader for 20 plus years and was always around the Church willing to lend a hand. Enos was currently working with the City of Graham at the City Lake was had recently been appointed to the City of Graham Cemetery Board. He was also a past member of the Graham Jaycees as well as the Alamance Wildlife Club and the Alamance Corral. He was the recipient of the Long Leaf Pine Award, awarded by the Governor of NC. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Holt McDonald, of the Home; son, Joshua McDonald, of Wilmington; sister, Lillianne Kepley and husband David, of Wilmington; brother, Eugene James McDonald Jr. and wife Pricilla, of Eden; sister in law, Susan Crutchfield, of Reidsville and several loving nieces and other family members. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 10, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Graham with the Pastor G. Kevin Baker Officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM on Saturday July 9, 2016 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First UMC of Graham at 303 North Main Street, Graham, NC 27253 Condolences may be offered at www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
