Eraclio Hurtado Ceja Sr.

Eraclio Hurtado Ceja Sr., 65, Efland, NC falleció tragicamente en Carolina del Norte el 22 de mayo del año 2025. Eraclio era hijo del fallecido Jose Hurtado, y Belen Ceja Hurtado que queda con vida. Le precedio en muerte un nieto, Emmanuel Gene Ceja, y un hermano Santiago Hurtado Ceja.

Eraclio disfrutaba ir de pesca, béisbol, balon cesto, y el fútbol. Era fanático de los Tar Heels de Carolina y los Panteras de Carolina. Le encantaba jugar barajas.

Tristemente será extrañado por todos los que lo conocian.

Los que quedan para conservar su memoria son sus cuatro hijo/as Eraclio Ceja Jr., Angel Ceja-esposa Wendy Ceja, Eric Ceja-esposa Erandy Ceja, y la niña de papa Letecia Cozart Paredes- esposo Emilio Paredes.

Tiene 20 nieto/as, Izlyn-Maddux Ceja, Kay’Lynn-Nathan Ceja, Michael-Deven y Gabby-Andy Fuller, Eliana-Evalynn-Gabriel-Elizabeth-Emmariyeli Ceja, Mariana-Alexander (AJ) Cozart-Hernandez, Emylet-Emilia Cozart-Paredes.

Tiene cuatro hermanas, María Letecia Hurtado-esposo Alejandro, Maria Alicia Hurtado-esposo Aubrelio, Maria Magalena Hurtado-esposo Austreberto, y Maria de la Luz Hurtado. Tiene dos hermanos, Rojelio Hurtado-Ceja-esposa Leonor, Diego Hurtado Ceja-esposa Sierra.

Madres de sus hijo/as, Glenna Medrano, y Drema Cozart-Guerra.

Eraclio Hurtado Ceja Sr., 65, of Efland, NC, tragically passed away in North Carolina on May 22, 2025.

Eraclio was the son of the late José Hurtado and Belen Ceja Hurtado, who survives him. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Emmanuel Gene Ceja, and a brother, Santiago Hurtado Ceja.

Eraclio enjoyed fishing, baseball, basketball, and football. He was a big fan of the Carolina Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers. He loved playing cards. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Those who remain to honor his memory are his four kids, Eraclio Ceja Jr., Angel Ceja-wife Wendy Ceja, Eric Ceja-wife Erandy Ceja, and "daddy’s girl" Letecia Cozart Paredes-husband Emilio Paredes.

He has 20 grandchildren, Izlyn-Maddux Ceja, Kay’Lynn-Nathan Ceja, Michael-Deven + Gabby-Andy Fuller, Eliana-Evalynn- Gabriel-Elizabeth-Emmariyeli Ceja, Mariana-Alexander (AJ) Cozart-Hernandez, Emylet-Emilia Cozart-Paredes.

He has four sisters, María Letecia Hurtado-husband Alejandro, María Alicia Hurtado-husband Aubrelio, María Magalena Hurtado-husband Austreberto, and María de la Luz Hurtado. He has two brothers Rojelio Hurtado Ceja-wife Leonor, and Diego Hurtado Ceja-wife Sierra.

The mothers of his children are Glenna Medrano and Drema Cozart-Guerra.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 30, 2025 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham from 12pm to 8pm and also on Saturday, May31, 2025 from 11am to 1pm.  Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery in Burlington.
