Ernest Evans Barfield

Ernest Barfield, 62, passed away on December 28, 2015 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. He was a member of Old Time Baptist Church in King, NC. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his beloved dog “Dusty”. Survivors include his daughters; Angela Harvell (John) of Gibsonville, Crystal Virden (Steven) of Pleasant Garden, son; Shawn Barfield of Graham, brothers; James Barfield, H.D. Barfield, sisters, Alliene Reynolds, Martha Roach, Faye Edwards (Les), Frances Wise, Alma McNeil, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Ruth Purvis Barfield and 3 sisters. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday January 2, 2016 at Old Time Baptist Church 1786 Chestnut Grove Rd. King, NC 27021. Other times the family will be at the residence of Angela Harvell. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell 914 Chapel Hill Rd.
