Ethel Young Pritchett

Mrs. Daisy Ethel Young Pritchett, age 100 died March 5, 2020 at her home in Alamance County with family and friends by her side.She was the wife of the late Jeff D. Pritchett Jr.  She was the daughter of Mr. Fred Young and Daisy May Smith Young.Survivors include one son, David (Tony)  Pritchett and wife Annette, a granddaughter Jennifer Tapanes and husband Roly, a great granddaughter Eva Tapanes, and a grandson, Jeff Davis Pritchett III and friend Caryn Biggert.  Surviving sisters are Mrs.Betty Barnwell and husband Mason of Mebane and Lucille King of Arizona.  Surviving sister-in- law Polly Duncan.   She is also survived by her very special friend, Edith Brown.She was preceded in death by  her daughter Karen Yvonne (Bonnie) Pritchett.The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 14, 2020 at the  Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, by the Reverend Willie Teague.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.Memorials may be made to Crossroads Church or Hospice of Alamance/Caswell County.
