Eugene Stevenson "Steve" Ashley

Eugene Stevenson “Steve” Ashley, 68 of Graham went to his Heavenly home Monday night and now he is at peace with his Savior.  He was a native of Alamance County, self employed in construction as a sheet rock finisher. He is the son of the late Dan Foust, Jr. and Betty Jean Ashley Foust. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Ashley Blaylock; brothers, Danny Foust and Frankie Foust.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Morrow Ashley of the home; daughter, Beth Cates and husband Shannon of Mebane; siblings, Perry Foust and wife Bonnie of Gibsonville, JoAnn Stewart and husband Lee of Graham, Arnold Foust and wife Scarlett of Graham.

A private memorial service for the family will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Harvest Baptist Church conducted by pastor Larry Lamberth. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
