Evelyn "Ebbie" Moore Mann

MOORESVILLE - Ebbie Mann, 61, passed away Jan. 19, 2015, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Clara Rea Slaughter Moore. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana and enjoyed spending time outside by the water, taking care of her grandkids and traveling.Ebbie is survived by her husband, Elliott Mann, of Mooresville; children, Heather Smith (Mark) of Davidson, Russ Cornell (Jen) of Elon, Lizabeth Marcum (Casey) of Kernersville and Meredith Jones (Bryan) of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Pam Carter (Wayne) of Graham and Sandy Wightman (David) of Concord; brothers, Gary Moore (Harriet) of Swansboro and Ray Moore (Kathy) of Graham; brother-in-law, Sammy Barnes of Graham; grandchildren, Hallie Smith, Caroline Smith, Harrison Smith, Aidan Cornell, Boston Cornell, Cannon Cornell, Daelynn Cornell, Landyn Marcum and Carter Marcum; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Moore Barnes.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at Graham Presbyterian Church with the family receiving friends following the service in the church parlor. Prior to the service, Elliott will be staying at the home of Ray and Kathy Moore, 108 N. Melville Street, Graham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Gordon Hospice House, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
