Flonnie Riley

Mrs. Flonnie Gregory Riley, 96, of Keck Road, Haw River, NC, passed away on Monday May 15, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Person County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Moore “Jack” and Nannie Mae Taylor Gregory. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to many. She became a member of Northside Presbyterian Church in 1957 and was a member of the Circle 4 Sunday School Class. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Secdall Riley (Skeeter) and Linda R. Lunsford (Wayne); sons, David F. Riley (Diane), M. Thomas Riley (Gayle), Clinton G. Riley (Jan), and Dale S. Riley (Sallie); Grandchildren, Michael Tyndall (Michele), Keith Tyndall (Deane), Yvonne Tyndall, Yvette Tyndall, Wayne Wilson (Laura), Gwynn L. Meeks (Jim), Greg Lunsford, Kevyn Riley, Gene Riley (Ally), Dawn Riley, Scott Riley (Christy), Wyndi R. Glasgow (Mike), Wesley Riley, Britt Riley (Amy), Kyle Riley (Melissa), and Kim Riley (Ronnie); 22 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Thomas Riley, Sr.; sister, Phyllis Gregory Troxler; Granddaughter, Sherri René Riley, and Great Granddaughter, Makayla Lynn Rodriguez. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 18, 2017 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Rev. Jim Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27217 or to the Northside Presbyterian Church at 1805 Vaughn Rd. Burlington, NC 27217. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her granddaughter, Yvonne Tyndall, her caregiver, Lisa Davison and the nurses and staff with the Alamance/Caswell Hospice for their love and support during this difficult time in our lives.
