Frances Marie Smith

Miss Frances Marie Smith, 85, of 513 E. Main St., Haw River, NC, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013, at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late George and Claudia Smith Smith. She was a member of Haw River United Methodist Church and was retired from AT&T as a purchasing agent. Survivors include her brother, Vance Smith and wife Barbara, of Washington, NC; sister in law, Pearl Smith, of Haw River; nephew, Newman Smith, of Wilmington and his family; special friends Mitta Riley, Jon Riley and Sandra, Warrie Terrell, Jacob and Alex; and a host of loving friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Haw River United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeanne Neal officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Sunday November 17, 2013 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haw River UMC at P.O. Box 460, Haw River, NC 27258 or to the charity of ones choice.
