Frances Mccauley Smith

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Frances Smith, 83, passed away Feb. 24, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell. Survivors include her son, Ervin Eugene "Gene" Smith Jr. and wife Rosie of Gibsonville; daughter, Sandra Kay Murray and husband Alan of Graham; grandchildren, Frank Mueller, Rene Choim, David Woody and Barbara Paul; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Eugene Smith Sr.; parents, Allie Hancock and Albert Mack McCauley; sisters, Ermina Norton and Marie Fowler; brothers, Clifford, Carl and Pete McCauley; and one great-grandchild. The service will be held in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home of Gene and Rosie Smith, 501 Brookfield Drive, Gibsonville, NC 27249. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell and the Rehabilitative Center at Liberty Commons for their care and support.
