Frank James Hamlett, Jr.

Frank James Hamlett, Jr., 53, of Haw River passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was a native of Alamance County.  He was an auto mechanic at Hamlett Auto Repair for 32 years where he worked hand in hand with his daddy and his nephew. He is the son of Frank James Hamlett, Sr. and Linda Tuck Hamlett who survive.

In addition to his parents of Haw River, he is survived by his fiancé, Wendy Atkins of Haw River; daughters, Jessica Hamlett and Miranda Hamlett of Haw River, grandchildren, Gabriella Hamlett and Ky Moore; sister, Lisa Moize and husband Dean of Haw River; grandmother, Loretta McBrayer of Haw River; nephew, Austin Phillippie & fiancé Karlee Rudd; great nephew Easton Phillippie.

A service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Boyd Pickard. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 before the service and other times at the home of his parents.
