Garland Rudolph Gilbert

BURLINGTON - Mr. Garland Rudolph Gilbert, 75, of 926 North Mebane Street, passed on Monday, March 24, 2014.He was born in Johnson County, N.C. to the late Rudolph and Annie Beasley Gilbert and was retired from the City of Burlington Waste Water Treatment Plant. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham with the service to follow in the McClure Chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Godair will officiate and burial will be in the Haw River Cemetery. At other times the family will be at the residence. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Carol Wilson Gilbert, of the home; daughters, Connie Pope and husband Ronnie, Vickie Walton and husband Marvin of Angier, Susan Dodson of Mebane; son, Tommy Dodson, of the home.
