Garnett Lee Hedrick, Sr.

Mr. Garnett Lee Hedrick, Sr., 51, of Reidsville died July 17, 2017 at Duke Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Hedrick was born in Alamance County on November 7, 1965, to Denzel and Ruby Pearlene Proctor Hedrick. Garnett was a good ole country boy that loved fishing and hunting, cooking and riding his motorcycle. He unconditionally loved his family, his dog Jake, and “his girls” the 6 chickens. Mr. Hedrick is survived by his son, Garnett Lee Hedrick, Jr. of Elon; former spouse, Cynthia Hedrick of Alamance County; and sisters, Sue Hedrick of Graham, Sharon Hedrick of Burlington, Marilyn Brown and Vivian White, also both of Graham. He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother, Glenn Hedrick. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 am Saturday at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times will be at the residence of Sharon Hedrick. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Cremation will follow the service. Arrangements are under the care of McClure Funeral and Cremation Service of Graham.
