Gary Russell Riley

Gary Russell Riley, 71, of Mebane, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  He was born on June 19, 1951 to the late Ollie and Lovey Riley.  Gary was a hard worker and an avid farmer, which is something he grew up doing. He was a true family man who had a big heart and loved his family very much. He loved to tell stories, especially ones about farming and his time serving his country in the Army.

Gary is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Tony Daniel Riley (Victoria), Melissa “Missy” Altman (Jason), Gary “Rusty” Russell Riley Jr., and Heather Carrigan (Chris); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023. Memorial flowers may be sent to McClure Funeral Service in Mebane prior to the service date.
