Gayle Pearson Holley

Gayle Pearson Holley, 71, of Burlington passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Hospice Home of Burlington. Gayle was born in Alamance County. She was the daughter of Benjamin Ralph and Lois Fulcher Pearson both deceased. She was an active lifelong member of Haw River United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Thelma Cates Sunday School Class and served as a church camp director and a youth leader. She was also a big lover of animals. Gayle is survived by her children: Heather Holley-Hall (Craig) of Haw River, and Jonathan Holley (Leesa) of Alamance. Grandchildren; Joshua Holley of Burlington and Benjamin Hall of the home. She was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Pearson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Haw River United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff of White Oak Manor for their compassion and care for Gayle during her stay.
