George Billy "Buddy" Craven

George Billy “Buddy” Craven 80, of 1222 Brookhollow Road, Efland, NC died Monday February 15, 2016 at The UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. He was born in Randolph County, NC and was a retired truck driver. Surviving is 3 daughters Diane Craven Weatherford and husband Dr. Mark Weatherford of Archdale, Vickie Craven Denis, of Mebane, Becky Craven Skinner and husband Bill Skinner of High Point, 9 grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Norman Craven, parents Talmadge and Viola Craven. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 18, 2016 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, 1308 S. Third St. Mebane, NC, officiating will be Dr. Mark Weatherford. Burial to follow in the Brightwood Christian Church Cemetery, Gibsonville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8pm other times at the residence.
