George Robert Haith

George Robert Haith, 91, of Chapel Hill passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at his residence. George was born in Orange County to Levi and Mary Holt Haith both deceased. He was the husband of Ruth Opal Edmonds Haith also deceased. He was retired from the textile industry.

George is survived by his: Daughter, Brenda Haith Duncan (Everett) of Chapel Hill, son, Terry Lee Haith of CA, grandchildren, Angela Duncan Carruth (Jeff) of Efland, Sherry Michelle Duncan of Snow Camp, Carolyn Sue Duncan of Snow Camp, Joshua Lee Haith of NC, Justin Haith, NC. He was also survived by 6 great grandchildren. George is survived by his siblings, Lillian Saunders (Jessie) of Oak Grove, MO, David Haith (Shirley) of Mebane, Walter Haith (Nancy) of Burlington, Ida Haithcock of Siler City, Tanya Ann Hall of Mebane. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Haith.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM  in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Burial will follow in Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to Covid- 19 there will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 5: PM
