Glenda Newsome

Mrs. Glenda Ross Newsome, 68, of Mebane, NC passed away on Sunday October 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on January 23, 1949 to the late Perry Glenn and Palma Apple Ross. She was retired from the State of North Carolina with 33 years of service. She attended Eastside Baptist Church and she was known to be a fun loving woman and a one of a kind Lady. Survivors include her sons, Glenn Ray Newsome and Fiancé Christy Cobb, of Wilmington, NC and Christopher Lee Newsome and wife Melissa, of Youngsville, NC; grandchildren, Ashlyn Newsome and Zachary Newsome; brother, Stephen Ross and wife Karen, of Greensboro. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday October 26, 2017 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro.
