Gloria Briggs

Gloria Briggs, 79, passed away on March 26, 2021 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Freeman and Elma Somers.  She was employed at Carolina Biological in the accounting department for 23 years. Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Johnson and husband Wes Johnson, Cindy Stanley; son, Kevin Allred and wife Sharon Allred; sister, Carol Ann Wade; brother, Don Somers and wife Wanda Somers; grandchildren, Crystal Solomon, Noelle Trogdon, Allison Johnson, Holden Qualls, Meredith Johnson, and Parker Allred; great grandchildren, Chandler Solomon, Gracyn Solomon, JC Solomon, Owen Trogdon, Emersyn Trogdon, and Ada Davis. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Somers Jr. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
