Gloria East Day

Gloria East Day, 60, of Burlington passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at Duke University Hospital in Durham after several years of failing health. Gloria was born in Dania Beach, Fla. To Julian and Suzanne Riegellman East both deceased. Gloria was a homemaker.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Kermit Howard Day of the home. Daughter, Christina East Hawk and husband David. Step children, Monica Harris, Matthew Day, and Brandi Day. Grandchildren, Makalia Hawk and Jeremiah Hawk. Step grandchildren, Brennan Day, Cooper Day, Chris Harris, William Harris, and Dyshel Harris.  Her siblings, Joy East, Ruth Ann Parrish, Marie Davis, Kenneth Green. In addition to her parents Gloria was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donnie Green and Charles Green

A funeral service to celebrate Gloria's life will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 - 1:30 before the service.
