Gordon Weeks, Iii

William Gordon Weeks, III, 81, of Mebane, NC passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Weeks was born in Nash County on January 29, 1936, the son of William G. Weeks, Jr and Susie May Batts Weeks. He was retired from Phillip Morris, where he was a fire inspector engineer. Survivors include his wife, Martha Jones Weeks; sons, Kenneth Wesley Weeks (Michelle) of Mebane, and James Gordon Weeks of Greensboro; grandchildren, Melia, Andrew, Amanda and David; and a brother, Benjamin Weeks (Michelle) of Newport News, VA. The family will receive friends from 2 - 2:45 pm Friday, September 22, 2017 at The Lamb's Chapel Church, 415 Roxboro Street in Haw River. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm at the church. The graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount, NC.
