Gordon Benjamin Moreland

Gordon “Ben” Moreland, 66, of Snow Camp, NC, went home to be with the Lord on December 09, 2023. Ben was the son of the late Eva and Paul Moreland. Ben always lived life to the fullest and never let his handicap stop him from doing what he wanted to do. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR racing, and keeping his car spotless. He also loved taking his four-legged companion Bentley for walks in the woods.

In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his brother, Chipper Moreland.

Ben is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jennifer Allen Moreland, his daughter, Angela Dobbins, his granddaughter, Avery Dobbins, his sisters, Polly Taylor (Vernon), Pamela Roach, his brother, Phillip Moreland, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at Cane Creek Friends Meeting in Snow Camp beginning at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 prior to the service. A burial will follow the service at Cane Creek Friends Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice of Alamance-Caswell or the Cane Creek Friends Church Fund.
