Grady Capps

Grady Capps, 88, passed away on March 8, 2017 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mebane and served in the US Navy during WWII. He was employed by ARMC as a maintenance engineer. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Eudy Capps, son; Alan Capps (Kim) of Burlington, grandchildren; Sara Capps and Emily McCoy (Adam), great grandchildren; Tyler, Noah and Ethan, brother; Charles Caldwell of Michigan, sisters; Grace Haney and Helen Ledford both of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie Capps and Agnes Allen Caldwell and a daughter Doris Thompson. The family will receive friends on Saturday March 11, 2017 from 11-12 at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane. The funeral will follow in the McClure Funeral Chapel at 12:00pm. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
