Gwendolyn "Gwen" Denise Mckinnon

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Denise McKinnon, 60, passed away on Thursday November 23, 2017 at her residence. Gwen was born in Durham on October 12, 1957, the daughter of David and Lillie Mae Edwards McKinnon. Following graduation from high school, Gwen spent her life taking care of her parents until their passing. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend that overflowed with kindness and compassion for others. Gwen's wish was to be cremated. Services may be held at a date to be determined. Survivors include her brothers, Eric J. McKinnon of Chapel Hill, and David McKinnon, Jr. of Durham; as well as nieces, nephews and countless friends.
