Harold Lee Profitt, Sr.

Rev. Harold Lee Profitt, Sr., 74, of Burlington passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at his residence. Harold was born in Letcher, KY to Joseph Millard and Mary Collins Profitt both deceased. Harold was a retired electrician and minister.

Harold is survived by his wife, Joan Carolyn Profitt of the home. Children, Barbara Chambers and her fiancé Rodney Ashcraft, Harold Lee Profitt, Jr. and his long time companion Wendy Rigney, and Angela Lynn Profitt and her long time companion    Lynn Roberts. Grandchildren, Courtney, Cory, Emily, Christian and Faith. One Great Grandchild, Grayson Knox.

In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by 13 sisters and brothers.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Bright and Rev. Tommy Fargis. Burial will follow in Towe Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 12 noon until 1:45 PM Thursday prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.

Pallbearers will be Cory Chambers, Christian Profitt, Brandon Knox, Donald Wade, Paul Lhamon, Ronnie Bass.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or to Deep Creek Baptist Church, 1753 Deep Creek Church Rd., Burlington, \NC 27217.
