Harold Gene Rudd

GRAHAM - Mr. Harold Gene Rudd, 81, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2013 after several years of failing health. Mr. Rudd was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. He was the son of the late James N. Rudd and Beulah McKinney Rudd. Survivors include daughters, Cathy Oakley (Tommy) of Burlington and Donna Halas (Kenny) of Fort Mill, S.C.; son, Ricky Rudd (Debbie) of Graham; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Rudd. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the McClure Chapel in Graham, with Pastor Brian Dehart officiating. Public visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service and at other times at the home of Cathy Oakley. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
