Harry Edward James, 76, of Mebane passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at AuthoraCare Collective Care, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. Harry was born in Person County to Samuel Henry James and Dorothy Wilson James Hobby both deceased. Harry was a member of Mt. Zion Christion Church and he was a retired Landscaper.
Harry is survived by his wife, Peggy Travis James and his sons, Jeffrey Edward James and Randy Thomas James.
In addition to his parents Harry is also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Renee James.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 12 Noon in Mt Zion Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Rick Webster. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until 12 noon prior to the service.
